The first thing that I did was start with the photo of me that I wanted to use. Next, I sent myself lots of photos that I wanted to use from my camera roll that held a significant memory in my life. Next, I added the background of the trees and lessened the opacity. Then,  added the orchids to represent the meaning of the flower. Next., I added the logos of my favorite radio stations that I grew up listening to. I also added shows/movies that held a part in my upbringing. Like how monster high inspired my style, and how law and order showed me how to think ahead, and Shreck and scooby doo are the comfort movies that I've watched over and over again and hold a very good memory in my brain. Then, I added the picture of me on the day of my Quince, I cropped it to only show me and not the background and then started to add the photos of my family members. I added my parents, and then added the photo of my siblings and me together. I lessened their opacity and started to add pictures of my sister and me when we were young. I added them and added an overlay so that they were like a look into my past as the windows. Then, I added my favorite bible verse to represent my religion. I then added and outer glow to myself to show how I brighten up the world I'm in. I then asked my friends to use one word to represent me and added all the words that they said.

Blend modes are different filters you can add to a photo to change how/what is shown. Like how I used it on the photos on the windows. Layer masks are when you can choose a specific part of a photo to show up and delete the rest. I used that on the photo of my quince. Adjustment layers are when you can choose a specific part of a photo and add a filter or glow on only that part of your photo. I used that on the outline of myself to isolate myself and show a purple glow. 

It shows my identity because I added things that hold a significance in my upbringing and words that literally represent me as a person. My identidy is held up by my style and my memories, my way of living and how I choose to represent myself to this world.

In my project, the succesful part was the words i added and my background. And the photo of me that I chose helped me place thigns in a cool way. Next time I would probably find a way to not have sharp corners on my photos. 
 

I think I deserve a 4 for this project. I did my absolute best and used all kinds of filters and layer masks on my photos. I also added lots of meaningful photos and things that I believe show a side of me that nnot much know.
