1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create your logo in Adobe illustrator. Use complete sentences.​ Try to recall as many of the different tools, processes and keyboard commands as possible. 
First, I sketched out what I thought would be the best way to have my whole name in the logo. Next, I decided to have my name in each initial of my name. I went for a cake theme and decided to use an actual cake silhouette for the background. I typed my initials, and then letter by letter I added my name onto the H, P and S. I grouped it all together and copy, pasted my the logo onto the business card template and put in my own information and then copy, pasted that 10 times onto the sheet. I then filled out my resume with my own information and added the logo in the top left corner. And on each accent I made it the same pink as the background of my logo. When I finished I saved my sheet of business cards and resume as a pdf and my logo and solo business card as a png. I made a new page on my wix web page and added each thing onto the blank page including a screenshot of all my artboards. I then made the outline of my sticker by copy, pasting it and on the new one  offset the path and united it to be chunky and added my logo over it and with the downloaded pink outline I changed the chunky logo into being just an outline and then  downloaded that as a pdf and turned it into google classroom along with my resume and personal logo.

2. What is a cut line? Why is it important to add when making t-shirt designs, stickers, etc. 
A cut line is the line that the printer uses to now when the logo has ended. It is important because then there would be no way to peel off the sticker because it would be the logo and so much space until the end of the page instead of it being around the logo itself. 

3. What is branding? How can you use it to market yourself when looking for a job?

Branding is the way a company tries to perceive itself to those who experience it. I can use it to market myself as a hardworking person who puts their time into being presentable and professional.


4. Based on the learning target, "Create a brand identity with a logo by defining a personal aesthetic and then developing, proposing, and refining artistic ideas, plans, prototypes, and production processes such as business cards, a  resume, coordinating website, stickers and textiles using Adobe Illustrator and successfully exporting various file types.
I believe I deserve a 3.5 out of 4. I know i deserve at least a three because I completed everything and turned it in by the due date.  I don't believe I exceeded the criteria because I feel like my logo is simple and I am okay with how it turned out but I wouldn't wear a shirt with it on it I think.
I still really enjoyed this project and would like copies of the business cards and multiple stickers to give out and to keep.
